I ordered the ankle boot in cognac. I am consistently between size 8.5 and 9. I first ordered the 8.5 because I had ordered the dune sandal in a 9 and they were roomier than I wanted (but I kept them). HOWEVER, in the boot I needed the 9. If you are between sizes, order the 9 to avoid the shipping expense that I incurred ($27!!) I love these boots! I would say I have average sized ankles - I can feel them around my ankles, but it’s as expected. If you have thick ankles, I’m not sure about the fit.

I have enough room in these to wear trouser socks, thin socks or medium weight socks with the Ankle Bootie comfortably.

Normal width in foot. Ordered size 8 which is the size I wear. Slightly big. Hopefully thick socks will fix. But they feel very comfy and are super beautiful the leather and coloring is gorgeous. (Please ignore the socks)
