Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

The shades of blue and the feel of the leather really capture the essence of AQUA. Makes me think about scuba diving in the Caribbean. Love this bag! I bought it purposely for an upcoming trip with my kids. It is super convenient to be hands-free and it is quite comfortable and durable, not to mention beautiful. The only AP thing about it I can find is possibly some uneven pebbles throughout, but it gives it a unique character.

I bought the plum color and love it. It’s pebbled and looks beautiful. It has plenty of room. The front and inner pockets are great. The straps are a good size, adjustable and comfortable. I get many compliments on this color and bag.
This is the third bag I have ordered from Portland Leather. This one is actually a gift for my daughter. The quality is excellent. The customer service from Portland Leather is superb.
I Returned the Sierra backpack for this. Why I hadn't got it sooner I don't know! I got timber. I did not like that the Sierra didn't have a grab handle. It may not bother some but I really use that alot. I also like the outter pocket for a phone. I have the bucket backpack I so wish there was a pocket on the back side but I still like it. This tote bag holds alot and carries comfortably. The Sierra sat/hung a little funny. This pic is beside my new e/w devan also in timber. Same color but so different. It's one of my new favs!
